As a documentary-style photographer with a background in journalism, I work with you to memorialize beautiful, true moments. I’ll follow you on a family outing to the market, come along on a walk around the neighbourhood, or capture a slow-paced afternoon at home. Let’s celebrate your family and the real life you live together.

Based in Waterloo Region, I document families in Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph and surrounding area.

Why Documentary Family Photography?

Instead of stiff poses, I photograph families as they really are — laughing, exploring, comforting, playing.

These sessions focus on connection and personality, creating images that feel natural and meaningful years later. That said, I am happy to include some posed group shots in the mix.

What to Expect

My sessions are relaxed and centered on connection — I gently guide families through natural interactions, helping even shy or wiggly kids feel comfortable.

Session length: 60 minutes

Location: At your home, out on the town, favorite park, or another meaningful place

Pricing: Sessions start at $300.00 and include one hour at one location, and an online gallery with digital download.

Mini sessions with limited availability are offered a few times a year. They include 20 minutes at a specified location, and ten photos delivered digitally. Cost: $110.00

Your Privacy Matters

I’m committed to protecting children’s privacy. Any images I share online focus on connection, movement, and storytelling rather than fully identifiable facial features. Photographs showing close-ups of children’s full faces are reserved for the families themselves.
