I grew up listening to my dad tell us about his time volunteering with Children of Promise International to help build an orphanage in Andhra Pradesh, India. He played soccer with the kids in the evenings, and I always wanted to go play with them too. Finally, in 2012 I went for a visit and saw the legacy my dad helped leave behind.
Since then, I’ve been working with Children of Promise to share the stories of the children and workers in the organization’s homes in India. Here are a few of my photos of the orphanage and the kids who live there. Take a look at the blog here.
